As part of my consulting work with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, I created EcoWest.org, a website that analyzed, visualized, and shared data on environmental trends in the North American West. 

To inform this effort, I interviewed dozens of experts on a wide range of Western environmental issues, including water, land conservation, wildfires, biodiversity, climate, and politics. 

I presented an overview of my findings at the 2013 SXSW Eco Conference in Austin, Texas. Below is the slide deck.
