The Water Funder Initiative (WFI) was a collaborative effort to identify and activate promising water solutions through strategic philanthropic investments in the United States, starting in the American West, where the scarcity and reliability of clean water are urgent issues.
I served as lead communications consultant to the project as it developed its strategy and blueprint for philanthropy, including editing the report, building the WFI website, creating graphics/slides, and designing the logo.
My work with the WFI, now called the Water Table and part of the Water Foundation, also included creating WaterPolls.org, a website devoted to tracking public opinion on water-related issues. The Water Desk at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I have served as founding director, also emerged from my work with WFI.
