With support from the Water Funder Initiative, I created WaterPolls.org to track public opinion research on water issues.
Using a journalistic approach, I aggregated, synthesized, visualized, and shared data on water-related polls to advance public and policymaker understanding of both problems and solutions.
As part of my work on WaterPolls.org, I published five stories on water-related public opinion on Water Deeply:
- Where Westerners Agree and Disagree on Key Water Issues
- 7 Things I Learned Studying Public Opinion on Water
- Public Support for Water Investment Depends How You Ask the Question
- Public Opinion Expert Reveals What Americans Think About Water
- Stanford Study Probes Psychological Resistance to Recycled Water
I also delivered a presentation on water-related public opinion to the 2017 meeting of the California Water Association in Monterey.
While working on WaterPolls.org, I created PowerPoint slides to summarize key findings from public opinion polls. Below are some examples.
